African American Ralph Banks, author of "Is Marriage for White People?" comes to Toronto for an honest, open discussion about marriage and relationships as part of the LEGACY Speaker Series. Mr. Banks has appeared on The View, Nightline and Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show discussing the issues surrounding the deterioration of marriage in North America. Mr. Banks will focus on the state of marriage in the Black community, where it's heading and the societal reasons behind the breakdown in committed relationships.
Mark Black History Month and Valentine's Day with a stimulating and soul-searching conversation about marriage and relationships. Prior to Mr. Banks' appearance, there will be an hour-long discussion with prominent members of the community about finding love in Toronto and turning it into a committed relationship. Mr. Banks' book will be available for purchase and signing on site. Networking and social event to occur afterwards.
